CreateThe harness

Hand the busywork to an assistant

An assistant that knows your data, documents, mail and calendar. Ask it for the report, the slides, the reply or the weekly check, and get finished work back, with every step shown and nothing changed until you say so.

A plan before long work

Nothing is spent until you say yes

Before a long job the assistant shows its plan and how long it should take. Start it, change the steps, or ask for a quick answer instead. You stay in charge of time and cost, and you never wait on work you did not want.

  • Start it and watch, or leave it working and be told when it is done
  • Change the steps in plain words before it begins
  • Long work carries on even if you close the tab

Every step in words

See everything done on your behalf

Each answer lists what the assistant read, searched and ran, with exactly what was sent and returned one click away, and the sources it used. Anything that would change something asks you first, once or for the whole conversation.

  • Numbered sources under every answer
  • Allow once, always allow reading here, or don't allow
  • Code runs in an isolated sandbox, never on your systems

Docs

From question to finished board pack

Reports, slides, letters, quotes and sheets the assistant drafts and you edit together, in your organisation's own look. Ask it to tighten every slide, add a total row or translate the lot, and present straight from OQLIS.

  • Templates from proposals and board papers to invoices and budgets
  • Themes from your brand, or your own Word and PowerPoint templates
  • Presenter view with notes, a timer and the next slide

Actions

Work that gets done while you are away

Describe a job once: a morning briefing, a weekly report as a PDF, a check that tells you when something appears. It runs on its schedule or when another system calls it, as you, and asks you before it changes anything.

  • Try it first: runs send and change nothing until you put it live
  • Watching tasks stay quiet until they find what you described
  • Changes wait in your inbox under Needs you, ready to approve and run

Mail and calendar

An inbox that drafts, while you decide

Your own Gmail or Outlook, reached as you. Ask what a thread needs from you, get a reply drafted in your voice, and find a time everyone is free. The assistant never sends: the draft waits in your composer for you.

  • Summarise a thread, or ask "What do they need from me?"
  • Make a draft shorter, warmer, more formal or more like you
  • Daily and weekly mail summaries, at the time you choose

Meeting notes

Be in the meeting, not taking notes

Start notes from the calendar or the Mac app. When you finish, the notes are written into Docs and what was agreed is offered as your project's to-dos, so nothing decided in the room gets lost.

  • "Take notes of this meeting" straight from a calendar event
  • Notes land in the Docs folder you choose
  • What was agreed is offered as your project's to-dos

WhatsApp and voice

Ask from the road, the site or the car

Link your number once and ask OQLIS on WhatsApp, as yourself, and get charts back. Or talk to it hands-free: speak, hear the answer, and interrupt when you like. Every message is governed and kept like a typed one.

  • Link with a code; an administrator approves the number
  • Anything that changes something is asked about first
  • Also in the Mac and Windows apps

Knowledge

What your organisation knows, kept and connected

The people, companies and topics your workspace works with, what it has learnt about each, and how they link. See what is on everyone's mind this week, which relationships are going cold, and which rely on a single person.

  • Lenses for going cold, one point of contact, bridges and gaps
  • New facts and links are proposed for review, not just added
  • Skills: the assistant offers to save a way of working for next time

Also in Create

For the days the work is bigger than a question.

  • Apps from a conversationTurn a chat into a small app for colleagues; an administrator reviews it before everyone gets it.
  • Projects with a timelineConversations, to-dos, documents and a Gantt view, with what is late hatched.
  • A browser you shareThe assistant browses on your server while you watch, and you sign in yourself.
  • Code and terminalsAn editor, terminals and git for technical teams, in the same place.
  • Ask separatelyA side question answered beside the main one, without losing your place.
  • Your budget, in viewWhat you have used this month, and a button to ask for more.
