The workspaceModern work, with AI on every team
Projects where people and the assistant share one conversation, one set of documents and one inbox. Docs, sheets and slides are written together, mail comes from Gmail or Outlook, and every answer about the business comes from your own data.
On track for the 14 March launch. Pricing is agreed; the warehouse lease is waiting on legal, and two stores still have no opening stock plan.
Projects
Everyone knows where the project stands, without a status meeting
A project holds its people, plan, to-dos, conversations, documents and mail. An AI project manager reviews it on your schedule and tells the right people what changed.
- Deliverables and milestones, with to-dos landing in each person's Actions
- Reviews every day, weekday or week, citing the evidence for each point
- It proposes plan changes; a person accepts them
- It reads only conversations shared with the project, within a monthly cap
Shared chat
One conversation for the team and the assistant
Invite colleagues into a conversation and work it out together. Each message runs as the person who sent it, so nobody sees data they couldn't see before, and each person's AI spend comes from their own budget.
- @mention a colleague and they are told straight away
- People who can send, and people who can only read
- Share a read-only link that a colleague can carry on in their own copy
Docs
Write together, and decide what the AI changes
Documents are edited live by everyone at once, with comments and a history you can go back to. When the assistant edits, each change arrives as a suggestion, so nothing it writes goes in without a person.
- Comments with @mentions, and up to 50 versions to restore
- Your themes, or one made from your own Word or PowerPoint template
- Opens Word files; downloads to Word or PDF, or sends by email
First quarter
Margin fell in March as freight costs rose under the new carrier contract. Prices held, and volumes grew in every region.Sheets
Spreadsheets your team already knows, without the copies
A spreadsheet with formulas, fill, sort and filter, edited by several people at once. Open a Google Sheet in it and save back only the cells you changed, or bring Excel in and take it out again.
- 57 formula functions, kept when you copy and paste to and from Excel
- If someone changed a cell in Google meanwhile, it asks before saving over it
- Chart the selected cells in one step
Slides
The board pack, built from the facts and presented from the browser
Slides that take their charts from your certified numbers, in your own theme. Present full screen with presenter notes, the next slide and a timer, then hand over a PowerPoint file.
- Opens PowerPoint files; downloads to PowerPoint or PDF
- Built-in themes, or your own from a PowerPoint template
- Edited together, with comments and history like any document
Your inbox, with an assistant that never sends for you
Connect Gmail or Outlook and work your mail beside your projects. The assistant summarises threads, reads attachments and drafts replies, and you always press send.
- "What do they need from me?" on any thread
- Link a thread to a project, and turn its asks into to-dos
- Daily or weekly summaries, snooze, and "Remind me if no one answers"
- Your mail stays in Gmail or Outlook; OQLIS doesn't keep a copy
